clean hotel in a nice building next to all nearby attractions in seward. comfortable bed and comfortable and excellent location right on the harbor. a wide range of food options just a short walk away from the venue.

The Gateway in Seward impressed with its modern design and fine views. The breakfast spread was a highlight each morning, especially the vegan sausage option. Staff were helpful, arranged a last-minute taxi for our changing plans and taking care of our luggage transfer for the cruise. The room decor was clean and contemporary. The walls were quite thin, leading to some disturbances from neighboring rooms. For the price point, I expected a bit more soundproofing. This place is worth considering, especially for its location and service even if some noise was an issue.

We had an amazing two-night stay! The breakfast was delicious and varied, especially enjoyed the pancakes. The room was super comfy and exactly as pictured.. One downside was the lack of a nearby cafe, but everything else was perfect! I'd definitely come back again.

The waterfront walking path offered amazing views of Resurrection Bay. We even spotted some sea otters! Breakfast was solid, and the staff were super accommodating. Plan a wildlife cruise to get close to glaciers and whales. There's plenty to do for all types of adventurers.
